Hurricane Idalia - Important Closure Update

Most Insight Credit Union branches are open today, Wednesday, August 30th with regular business hours. Our Inverness, Ocala and Wildwood Offices are currently closed and will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, August 31st at 9am. Visit our Branch Locator to find a location near you.


Hurricane Idalia - Important Closure Information

We continue to closely monitor the potential path of Hurricane Idalia. At this time, all Insight Credit Union branches are open today, Tuesday, August 29th.

Our Inverness, Ocala and Wildwood Offices will close at 2pm today, and remain closed on Wednesday, August 30th. All other Insight branches will be open with regular business hours unless conditions change.

Once the storm has passed and we can assess the situation, we will provide further updates here and on Facebook and Twitter to keep you informed in the coming days. Stay safe!


Watching Tropical Storm Idalia

Ensuring the safety of our members and team members is our top priority. We have been closely monitoring the potential path of Tropical Storm Idalia and will continue to do so as the storm progresses. 

We'd like to take the opportunity to remind everyone, now is the time to get prepared and determine a plan. Residents are encouraged to have enough supplies on hand to survive for at least three days after a hurricane hits.

Basic Disaster Supplies Kit

To assemble your kit store items in airtight plastic bags and put your entire disaster supplies kit in one or two easy-to-carry containers such as plastic bins or a duffel bag.

A basic emergency supplies kit could include the following recommended items:

  • Water - at least a 3-day supply; one gallon per person per day
  • Food - at least a 3-day supply of non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food
  • Flashlights and extra batteries
  • Battery-powered or hand-crank radio and NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert
  • First aid kit
  • Extra batteries
  • Plastic sheeting and duct tape
  • Cell phone with chargers and a backup battery
