Our Response to COVID-19

The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting our entire community. We are doing everything possible to balance the health and safety of our employees, you our members and the community, while continuing to providing exceptional service. We understand that many of our members are experiencing significant financial hardships and we're here to help.

Federal Government Economic Impact Payment (Stimulus Check)

The Treasury Department and the IRS have indicated that the distribution of the economic impact payments or stimulus checks for qualified households will begin mid-April. For most recipients, no action is required. These payments will come directly from the IRS; therefore, the Coronavirus Tax Relief and Economic Impact Payments website is the best source for more information.

Skip-A-Pay - Our year-round Skip-A-Pay program is available to members who would like to defer their consumer loan payment up to two times in a twelve-month time period. Some loan exclusions apply.

Waived Skip-A-Pay Fee - During these challenging times, we are temporarily waiving our normal Skip-A-Pay fee for members who would like to advance the due date on certain loans by up to three months. Contact us to find out how.

Any Season Any Reason Loan - Members can receive up to $8,000 at 10% APR for up to 48 months*. Use the money for whatever you may need right now. Apply for a loan online!

Credit Cards

Waived Skip-A-Pay Fee - We are allowing members to skip up to three credit card payments fee free. Contact a Financial Services Representative today to find out how to skip your payment.

Credit Limit Increase - Member’s can request a credit limit increase any time. Simply log into Insight Online and apply today.

Checking and Savings

Overdraft Protection - Available for all Insight Checking Accounts and will transfer enough funds from your Insight Savings or Money Market Account for a small fee of only $3. Transfers cannot exceed Regulation D limits.

Waived Money Order Fee - We are temporarily waiving our normal $4 Money Order fee. Money Orders are available via our drive-thru windows.

Waived Official Check Fee - We are temporarily waiving our normal $10 Official Check fee for non-members. Official Checks are available via our drive-thru windows.

Waived CD Early Withdrawal Penalty - We are temporarily waiving early withdrawal penalties on your CDs to make it easier for you to access your money when you need it.

Waived Outgoing/Incoming Wire Fee - We are temporarily waiving our Wire Transfer (Domestic/Outgoing) fee of $25 and our Wire Transfer (Domestic/Incoming) fee of $15 to better serve our members during this time.

We encourage our existing Business members to contact our Commercial Lending team to discuss ways we can assist during this time.

Current Branch Services

The health and safety of our employees, you our members and our community remain our top priority. We continue to follow the recommendations for businesses that have been issued by the Centers for Disease Control and other health organizations. In response to those guidelines, we have modifications to some of our branch services.

Drive-Thru Service

Our locations with drive-thru windows are open with regular hours of operation. We can help you with the following transactions: withdrawals and deposits, payments, cash advances, cashiers checks and money orders. Branch Lobby Appointments

Branch lobby access including our Wekiva Office is currently by appointment only. All branch lobbies have new hours of operation for members who need to access their Safe Deposit Box, send a wire transfer, get an Instant Issue Debit Card, open an account or close on a loan.

  • Saturday 9am - Noon (For locations with Saturday hours.)

Automated Options

Insight Online, our Mobile Banking app and Phone Banking are available 24/7 and remain the safest ways to access your account information and conduct transactions.

What We’re Doing for Employees

We’re expanding our capacity for employees to work remotely. Insight Credit Union is also working with employees who are dealing with unexpected closures of schools and daycare centers. We’re also taking extra precautions to ensure our workspaces are clean and safe as possible.
