Our Response to COVID-19

We continue to do everything possible to balance the health and safety of our employees, you our members and the community, while continuing to providing exceptional service. We understand that many of our members may be experiencing significant financial hardships and we're here to help.

Branch Services Update

Beginning Monday, October 19, 2020, we will expand our branch services by reopening our teller lines and lobbies at select Insight locations. Here is how we will continue to serve you.

Lobby Availability

On Monday, October 19, 2020, we will open many of our branch lobbies Monday through Friday to serve a limited capacity at one time. On Saturdays, those branches with Saturday hours will continue to be by appointment only.

For your safety and the safety of our team members we have established the following guidelines:

  • Face coverings will be required inside every location for all visitors, except for children up to two years old. You may be asked to momentarily lower your covering and present a photo ID to confirm your identity.
  • The number of visitors inside the branch will be limited. You may be asked to wait outside if we are over capacity.
  • If you are feeling sick, experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, you may be asked to use the drive-thru window.

Important Note: Our DeLand Office and the lobby of our Winter Springs Office will remain open by appointment only. Our Ocala, Osceola Parkway, Vista Lakes, and Wildwood locations will continue offering drive-thru services only. Skip the line and schedule ahead of time!  We encourage all members to book an appointment before visiting for a variety of services including:

  • Wire Transfer

Cleaning and Sanitization Practices

  • We have implemented additional thorough, ongoing cleaning and sanitization of all branch surfaces and materials.
  • All branch employees are required to wear masks for your protection.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available in branch lobbies.
  • If you are feeling sick, experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, we can help you manage your accounts online or by phone.

Drive-Thru Service

Our locations with drive-thru windows will continue to operate with regular business hours. Conduct the following transactions right from the safety of your vehicle:

  • Withdrawals and Deposits
  • Payments
  • Cash Advances
  • Cashier’s Checks  
  • Money Orders

Automated Options

Insight Online, our Mobile Banking app and Phone Banking are available 24/7 and remain the safest ways to access your account information and conduct transactions.

Loans

Skip-A-Pay - Our year-round Skip-A-Pay program is available to members who would like to defer their consumer loan payment up to two times in a twelve-month time period. Some loan exclusions apply.

Any Season Any Reason Loan - Members can receive up to $8,000 at 10% APR for up to 48 months*. Use the money for whatever you may need right now. Apply for a loan online!

Credit Cards

Credit Limit Increase - Member’s can request a credit limit increase any time. Simply log into Insight Online and apply today.

Checking and Savings

Overdraft Protection - Available for all Insight Checking Accounts and will transfer enough funds from your Insight Savings or Money Market Account for a small fee of only $3. Transfers cannot exceed Regulation D limits.

We encourage our existing Business members to contact our Commercial Lending team to discuss ways we can assist during this time.


Federal Government Economic Impact Payment (Stimulus Check)

The Treasury Department and the IRS have indicated that the distribution of the economic impact payments or stimulus checks for qualified households began mid-April. For most recipients, no action is required. These payments will come directly from the IRS; therefore, the IRS.gov Coronavirus Tax Relief and Economic Impact Payments website is the best source for more information.


What We’re Doing for Employees

We’re expanding our capacity for employees to work remotely. Insight Credit Union is also working with employees who are dealing with unexpected closures of schools and daycare centers. We’re also taking extra precautions to ensure our workspaces are clean and safe as possible.
