Nobody wants to be a victim of fraud. At Insight Credit Union, we’re always hard at work protecting your accounts. Following these simple steps can help you keep your accounts safe by identifying and resolving potential issues quickly.
Keep your email address and mobile number up-to-date on our accounts so we can get in touch quickly if there’s suspicious activity on your account.
Set up Alerts. There are dozens to choose from, all designed to give you access to information that matters to you in real time. Keeping tabs on your accounts is the best defense against fraud.
Don’t share sensitive information (account numbers, usernames, passwords) in an email, phone call or text message - we will never ask for this information when we contact you.
Check your accounts regularly for unauthorized transactions. Report suspicious activity or scams immediately. Visit our Contact Us page for important numbers to know.
Chip technology provides an additional layer of security. If a merchant offers it, be sure to dip your card to avoid the possible theft of your data.
Keep an eye on your credit and report anything unusual right away. Free services are available from all three credit bureaus. Visit AnnualCreditReport.com for more information.
Avoid the theft of your personal and banking information. Sign up for electronic statements and keep fraudsters out of your mailbox. Enroll in eStatements now.
