Stetson University, Insight Credit Union Agree to Multi-Year Naming Rights Partnership for Campus Arena

DeLand, FL — Insight Credit Union and Stetson University announced today the signing of a multi-year naming rights partnership for the arena inside the Edmunds Center. Effective immediately, Stetson men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams will now play at the Insight Credit Union Arena at Edmunds Center.

"The Insight Credit Union Arena is an important space for our entire campus community and WE are thrilled that Insight Credit Union has expanded their partnership to support our students," said Stetson Director of Athletics Ricky Ray, EdD. "Insight Credit Union is a valued member of the DeLand community, and we welcome this transformative partnership."

"This is an important naming rights agreement for Stetson University, the Athletics Program and our newly renovated Edmunds Center," said Stetson President Christopher Roellke, PhD. "We thank Insight Credit Union for their generosity, which will greatly benefit our student-athletes and the larger Stetson community."

The Edmunds Center has been the home of Stetson basketball since the 1974–75 season and Stetson volleyball has played in the venue since 1980. This summer, the arena underwent phase 1 of a renovation project, which included updates to seats, bathrooms, locker rooms, floor, and sound system. The arena, which currently seats 5,000 fans, was also upgraded with state-of-the-art Daktronics HD video boards and LED Daktronics side tables prior to the 2019-2020 season.
