Insight Credit Union to Offer Contactless Debit Cards

ORLANDO, FL (February 23, 2024) – Insight Credit Union is pleased to announce that newly issued Smart Check™ Debit Cards will support Contactless Transactions beginning March 1.

Contactless transactions are generally processed faster, more secure and offer additional layers of fraud protection making them an ideal option for many consumers.

Insight debit cardholders will still have the option to insert their card or tap to pay anywhere the contactless symbol is present to save time.

We’ve also moved key components of the card, like card number, cardholder name, and expiration date to the back of the card to better protect sensitive information.

New contactless debit cards will be issued to existing cardholders as their current card expires. Members wishing to upgrade their debit card sooner can contact a Representative to order one at any time. Fees may apply.
